The main cruising area is called Tuntenwiese, or “faggot meadow”, on the south side of the Victory Column and on the west side of the Hofjäggerallee, full of FKK (the German naturism) enthusiasts in the summer. The eponymous park in the heart of the city is one of the biggest green areas of Berlin and since the Weimar Republic, with its libertarian 1920s, it’s been a space for gay cruising.
